Photo Calorie Counter
CalPic is an AI-powered nutrition tracking app that helps you estimate calories from food photos. Snap a meal and get calories and macros in seconds.
How the photo calorie counter works
Point the camera at your plate. CalPic names the dish, estimates the portion, and fills in calories and macros.
Dish recognition from a photo
The AI looks at the plate and lists what’s on it — home cooking, restaurant plates, snacks, mixed bowls. You can edit any ingredient before you save.
Calories and macros
After it IDs the food, CalPic estimates weight and nutritional value. Protein, carbs, and fat update live when you change grams.
Accuracy you can correct
Visual estimates can miss a sauce or a side. That’s why every log is editable. Fix it in a tap and your day totals move with you.
Why CalPic is the most convenient app for calories and macros from a photo
Home-cooked meals, restaurant portions, and snacks — AI estimates calories and nutrients for you. A lemon mascot, reminders, and analytics help you stay consistent.
Convenient
Home food, takeout, or a snack at the desk. Snap it. The numbers land without hunting a database first.
Interesting
Your lemon hangs around, streaks stack up, and logging a meal feels like a check-in instead of homework.
Quick
Scan, glance, save. Then get back to the meal. The plan and remaining calories are waiting on the home screen.
The benefits of counting calories with CalPic
Your smart tool for achieving fitness goals easily.
No more typing every ingredient
Snap a photo and CalPic drafts the meal for you. Skip the spreadsheet. Stay on the habit.
Ingredient-level control
The model suggests items and a portion. Change grams, drop a topping, add a sauce — totals rewrite immediately.
A plan that is actually yours
Onboarding asks age, height, weight, activity, and goal. Daily calories and macros come from that, not a generic 2,000.
Progress you can see
Weekly calories, weight, and remaining macros sit in one place so you know if the week is working.
FAQ
Traditional apps make you search foods and guess portions. CalPic looks at the photo, drafts the ingredients, and estimates calories and macros. You still edit anything that’s off.
Photo estimates are educated guesses, not lab measurements. Lighting, sauces, and hidden oils can throw numbers off. Edit weight and ingredients when you care about precision, and treat results as guidance — not medical advice.

Meal photos you scan are sent to our backend and a third-party AI provider only to estimate nutrition. We do not sell your photos. Read the full details in the Privacy Policy.
